I'd seen this necklace online and thought the design and concept were cute. But then I saw it in person at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Expo and realized just how beautiful the necklace really is! As the earlier review said, the photos don't do it justice. The design is truly elegant. What a lovely reminder to pace myself at the start of a race.
I love this neclace! The charms are a little smaller than they seem in the photo but otherwise could not be better. I recently lost 30 lbs and have hit a plateu and been struggling with motivation to keep going. This is a reminder for me that even though somedays are slow and somedays are fast that I will reach my goal! The quaility is very high and it is something I can wear everyday! Thank you.
I saw this at the Boston expo and couldn't get over how gorgeous it is in person! Casually mentioned it to my parents and husband after I finished my first Boston. When I opened it on my birthday, it truly brought tears to my eyes! It is STUNNING in person and the meaning in collaboration with the fable and the sculpture in Copley made it literally the perfect gift!
I bought this for my best running buddy after she "paced" me to a PR in a half marathon. It was the perfect way to say thank you!! I don't think she has taken it off yet. This has become my "go to" site for gifts for all my runners!
What a fun necklace! I love how the hare appears to be chasing after the tortoise, who clearly paced himself and started off slow! The hare darted out too fast and now he's struggling. :) I think it would be a great gift idea for yourself and a running buddy - maybe one of you is a little slower, and the other tears up the road! Super cute and unique!
was at the disneyland half marathon expo this past september and the sparkles from the booth caught my eye. looked at MANY great pieces, but as soon as she pulled out this necklace, i KNEW it was the one for me! sometimes when running, i feel like the "hare," but am actually the "tortoise"... and i'm OK with that! :)
